We like our soap Super-Fat!

For the past 25 years we’ve been making soap during the cooler months only.

Yep, traditionally, our soap making stops during the “wet” season since soap does not like high humidity.

The excess fats/oils (the 4-6% "SuperFat" in soap makers' lingo) can oxidise in humidity.

This is why we have run our soap stocks down after Christmas and resumed soap making around March with lovely fresh batches... every year until now!

With thanks to your support, we are finally able to build a soap storage cool room, and install air conditioning the soap kitchen.

 

OMG - This means we can ramp up production and make soap ALL YEAR ROUND… Yay!
