In our experience, most people choose soaps first by colour, and secondly by aroma. However, many come back to stock up on classic Pearl soap after trying out the brightly coloured ones. If you had to pick one soap to take on a desert island......

WHAT HAPPENED TO Pearl Maxima?

Well folks, we experimented with this purely palm oil free soap and have abandoned the experiment for two reasons.

First, instead of palm, we used  shea butter, rice bran and macadamia oils - all glorious, but much more subject to rancidity in our Broome humidity and heat. In a nutshell, this soap hasn't lasted well. We had to throw lots away. And it  took much longer to cure.

Second, it was far more expensive to make and really, we had no extra sales.

Good try Hidden Valley, but we have abandoned this one.

Instead, we are moving to even more GUARANTEED sustainable palm oil, from old mixed plantations. No new forest habitat being chopped.

It's back to the old beautiful tried and true classic Pearl soap!

Saponified WA virgin olive oil, coconut, certified sustainable palm and castor oils, pure essential oils of palma rosa, rosewood, patchouli, rose geranium, frankincense and petitgrain.
